[Diari] Give and Receive

I am currently listening to Amin Idris talk I recorded last week. I remember, at the end of the session, he showed us a powerful commercial that touched hundreds of hearts at the lecture theathre including me. But I didn't cry. A male staff sitting in front of me cried almost silently. The video sent a powerful message indeed. It emphasized on giving because what you give you will get back. If you give your love, you will receive love in return.

I received Whatsapp messages from one of my lecturer today regarding Rejab month and never once in my life a lecturer sent advice/forwarded message to me, a student. And thinking about give & receive, I don't know if I had to send an advice message too in return? Like what is the most appropriate thing I should do? You see, most lecturers I met will never low their standards to become equal to students. Which mean, however close they are with their students, they will never let those treat them like friends. We must strictly make our relationship professional. But it is not wrong, it is called respect. And to those who let their students treat them like kawan2 aje, it is not wrong either. It is a matter of choice. But I prefer the latter.

And this one lecturer - the one who sent me messages, is not only friendly, but also patient, dedicated, motivated and special. That is why I want to keep my manner good and not rude.
