A Letter to A Resort Hotel
To the manager of Bobby's Hotel, 344 Apis Street, Kuala Pilah, California.
Dear Sir, Madam or Room,I would like to reserve a bed at your messy hotel for two weeks in August. We will need a room for myselft, my wife and our two stairs. We would like a double counter with a view of the trees. I understand that your rate includes a continental breakfast consisting of a fun French roll and Siput Masak Lemak preserves and a pot of hot teh o' ais. I would also like to reserve a side trip to Bahau and to the Faeq Canyon. My wife and I will go to the canyon alone. We will leave our smallest car with his dark brother at the swimming pool. We were at your hotel last year and had a simply quiet time and we look forward to fourteen days of relaxing heavily in your luxurious dog.
This is one of the most hilarious Mad Lib essay I had written out. I actually have a few books from the series but the only one I brought to Kuala Pilah is Vacation Fun Mad Libs.
In case you do not know, Mad Lib is actually a series of language game where you have to fill in blank spaces where words are left out from a story. You have to fill in answers first before you can read the story out loud. Each story is different but the blank spaces are always either verb, adjective, noun, adverb, place, exclamation, number, colour, animal or part of the body. And after your finished, you will find that your story is either nonsense, creepy, hilarious, dumb or anything! Depends on what words you chose.
The games are super fun and beneficial as you have to push your mind to think of these words. Sometimes I would google other vocabularies so that it won't be boring. It does makes you smarter, indeed!
I don't remember the price because I bought it about 3 years ago from Big Bad Wolf. But I'm pretty sure the prices are affordable considering the massive amount of books I bought during that time. Poor book, I only realized I have another box of book collections that I haven't touched for years because they were kept under my bed. I don't have enough space to keep them properly so my MIL put them under the bed after I pursued my studies. And everytime I clean my room, I never bothered to look what's on the inside.
Just months ago I had the opportunity to check and woah, brand new books! Most of them are my books and Alisha's. So I don't have to buy Alisha's books every months as the books look totally new. Jimat jimat ehehe.
